Establishing a foundation is a complex and challenging process, and the formation is greatly influenced by the individuals and/or organizations standing behind the idea. In order to build and create the basic institutional framework, a new foundation must depend on the willingness of its initial funding partners to share the vision, devote their time, expertise, and resources to make it happen.
Our founding sponsors will always have a special place in the institutional life of the LFGW. Their sustained financial support and their involvement, together with their continuing guidance is an obvious manifestation of their commitment to the Latino community in Greater DC.
